Welcome to Leaders in Progress — a values-driven, human-first newsletter for high-performing, thoughtful leaders who want to increase their impact and influence, without burning out.

🌱 If you’re ambitious but sometimes wonder what it’s all for, you’re in the right place.

🌱 If you want to do your best work in the world, but also need to figure out how to stay grounded, you’re in the right place.

🌱 If you like kind nudges and helpful strategies, without the toxic productivity bullshit, you’re in the right place.

🌱 And if you’re curious about how to human better and lead well, you are definitely in the right place.

I’ve been a leadership coach for high-performing leaders (at all levels) for almost 17 years, and a writer since I was just a kid. I’m endlessly curious about what it means to lead and live in this wild, ever-changing world and that’s what I write about here.

I believe the world needs your leadership, and that we’re in a transitional period where we’re redefining what it means to lead well.

And while I bring my expertise to the table here, I also approach leadership as a practice, not a position. We get better when we do better — and that requires that we are brave enough to try something new or stretch our own growth edges.

People who read this newsletter — some who’ve been with me for 15+ years — often say that they read my words and feel seen, grounded and less alone. They appreciate that I don’t come in heavy-handed telling them how to be or what to do, while still offering helpful strategies and suggestions to get them closer to their goals.

I hope you’ll agree.
